Vice President of “Melia Group”: I take pride for this investment, Albania’s new Mediterranean pearl
Melia Group’s Vice President, Maria Zarraluqui, described our country as one of the most beautiful destinations to further develop tourism, feeling very proud of the investment that Melia Group will finalize in the Gjiri i Lalzit area in Durrës.
During the special status ceremony of “Investor in 4-5 stars accommodating structure” awarded to “Concord Investment” Group in partnership with Melia Hotel Brand, the latter’s’ second most important manager called our country as the new Mediterranean pearl.
“It is a great pleasure to have Melia Hotel International as part of this investment, to turn Albania into one of the most beautiful tourist destinations. Albania is known as the new pearl of the Mediterranean and this is thanks to all the beaches, natural diversity and architectural works. Today, we are sitting here in this wonderful location of Melia’s next resort here in Durrës, and I personally think this is one of the most beautiful destinations compared to other places where it has established over time, and also a very interesting destination for all holidaymaker Europeans,” she said.
The Vice President also stressed that “Melia” chain hotels is always in search of the most beautiful destinations to operate, recently including our country also.
“Our company, which operates in 45 countries all over the world, has pursued a qualitative growth by following the most beautiful destinations for our brands and our customers. Building hotels in several areas of Albania has been a very nice strike to us and I strongly believe that this will be a long-term and successful relationship. For “Melia”, it is highly important to be part of this country and its economic growth. On behalf of “Melia Hotels International”, it has been quite a very long time that we operate hotels and we have something special that differentiates us from others, because even though we are listed on the stock exchange, the basis of the company is its own family,” she concluded.
The Albanian natural beauties have recently attracted quite large investors from all over the world, who are highly interested to invest in this sector.
